Nashville SC officially announced last week that 17-year-old center back Chris Applewhite has been signed to the club's third ever homegrown contract. GiveMeSport's Tom Bogert initially reported the deal being signed back in October, but the club finally announced the contract on Wednesday.
Applewhite is joining a center back room featuring Walker Zimmerman, Jack Maher, Josh Bauer and the newly signed Jeisson Palacios.
