Nashville SC are on the road again this weekend, heading to Philadelphia for a Sunday clash with the Union.
The Union currently sit atop the MLS Eastern Conference, with three wins from their first three matches under new head coach Bradley Carnell. After getting their first win of the year against the Portland Timbers last weekend, Nashville are beginning to return to health.
Gastón Brugman and Jacob Shaffelburg are both off of the injury report. Shaffelburg hasn't been a part of any matchday squad this year, missing out with unspecified thigh issues. Brugman made his Nashville debut last week, coming on for a nine-minute cameo against the Timbers.
Bryan Acosta remains out with a thigh injury. The Honduran international wasn't called up for his national team for their upcoming Gold Cup qualifiers against Bermuda, signifying that he's still not fully fit. He hasn't been involved for Nashville since mid-preseason. Tyler Boyd and Maximus Ekk are also still out as both continue their recoveries from torn ACLs.
Jeisson Palacios is off the report after a questionable designation kept him out of last weekend's match. Chris Applewhite started for Huntsville City on Saturday in a 1-0 loss to Chattanooga FC, likely indicating that Palacios will be in the squad and Applewhite won't be needed with the first team on Sunday.
For the Union, forward Markus Anders0n is out with a ankle issue. Winter signing Ian Glavinovich is questionable with a hamstring injury, and has played just six minutes since arriving on loan from Newell's Old Boys.
