Fafà Picault confirms his departure from Nashville SC

Fafà Picault confirmed on Friday that he will not return to Nashville SC in 2024 after entering free agency in the offseason.

Picault, 32, spent just one season in Music City, acquired from Houston Dynamo for up to $250,000 in General Allocation Money last winter. In his lone season as a Coyote, Picault played in 38 matches, finishing as Nashville SC’s second-highest scorer with nine goals and two assists, including a memorable solo effort to cap off a 2-0 win over CF Monterrey in the Leagues Cup semifinal.

Picault’s announcement comes on a day when Dax McCarty also confirmed his departure, leaving Nashville SC with two major pieces of their roster to replace before their 2024 season begins in early February.
