NASHVILLE, TN - Huntsville City FC announced the signing of defender Kevin Carmichael and midfielder Bryce Boneau on Tuesday. Both players were drafted by Nashville SC in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft and spent preseason training camp with Nashville.
“We are delighted to add Kevin and Bryce to our group for 2025,” said Matt Cairns, Huntsville City FC Director of Soccer Operations in the club's press release. “Kevin’s athletic, aggressive, and educated defensive style is perfect for how our organization wants to play. Bryce is a well-rounded, modern-day midfielder who has a high technical level with the ability to connect passes, carry the ball and make an impact in the final third.”
Carmichael spent four years with the University of California-Berkley. Able to play as a center back or full back, he made 66 appearances, scoring five goals and serving as the team captain in his senior year.
Boneau came through the FC Dallas academy and played for three seasons with the University of Notre Dame, where he logged five goals and 18 assists in 51 starts.
