Dan Lovitz scored Nashville's opening goal, equalizing after RSL took an early lead. The defender made a darting run through the box before smashing a towering header past goalkeeper Rafael Cabral, scoring just his third goal in a Nashville SC shirt. Lovitz has three assists already, leading Nashville with four goal contributions.

Eddi Tagseth was named to the bench after another consistent performance in midfield. The Norwegian nearly scored his first MLS goal, rattling the crossbar from just outside the box. Tagseth unsurprisingly covered the most ground in the match, running 8.37 miles. Through eight matches in 2025, he's run 63.39 miles, second only to Columbus Crew's Dylan Chambost.
