NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC have traded a pair of 2025 international roster slots to Los Angeles FC for $350,000 in 2025 General Allocation Money (GAM).
This makes three 2025 international slots Nashville have traded, including the one they sent to LA Galaxy as part of their deal to acquire winger Tyler Boyd. Nashville acquired an additional 2025 international slot from the Philadelphia Union last April, in a simultaneous move with their trade of McKinze Gaines.
Nashville currently have five players occupying international roster slots: Woobens Pacius, Jacob Shaffelburg, Sam Surridge, Edvard Tagseth and Patrick Yazbek. Shaffelburg is close to acquiring a green card, which could move him off an international roster slot before the season begins.
Nashville currently have one open international roster slot to use on a potential incoming signing. They’ve been linked with several wingers on a U22 Initiative deal, including Swedish youth international Ahmed Qasem.
