Nashville SC buy out Randall Leal's contract

NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville SC announced on Tuesday that the club has bought out the remainder of midfielder Randall Leal's contract. Leal, 28, was waived by Nashville last week and subsequently claimed by DC United.

Leal's contract with Nashville was guaranteed through the 2025 season, with a further option for 2026. When DC United claimed him off of waivers, they agreed to a new contract with Leal worth just over $100,000, the minimum amount for a player on the senior roster. Nashville were on the hook for the remainder of Leal's contract. He earned $1,115,000 in 2024.

DCU got Leal at the senior minimum, so about $100,000. Nashville responsible for the rest. He made $1.1 million in 2024.
