NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC announced on Thursday that they’ve sold their entire allotment of 24,000 season tickets for the 2024 Major League Soccer season. Fans wishing to purchase new season tickets will have to join the newly-branded “Next Act” waitlist.
“We have been blown away by the demand we have seen for Nashville SC since opening Geodis Park,” said Nashville SC CEO Ian Ayre in the club’s press release. “We halted sales at 24,000 because we want to ensure that we always have single game tickets available to allow fans choices. The ‘Next Act’ waitlist creates an opportunity for loyal fans who missed out on Season Tickets to be next in line.”
Since opening the 30,109 capacity Geodis Park in May 2022, Nashville have been among the most well-attended teams in MLS. They’ve averaged 27,947 fans (93% capacity) in 30 league matches since the venue opened, selling out nine of those.
In 2023, their league average of 28,550 fans per game is the fourth-highest attendance in MLS. The three teams ahead of them all play in NFL stadiums with significantly larger capacities.
Within MLS circles, there’s real concern about how much the city of Nashville will rally around their new team. It was a market without a history of soccer success.

Nashville’s 24,000 season tickets sold for next season are more than the total capacities of 17 MLS clubs, and higher than the average attendance of 22 teams. For a city whose ability to support an MLS club was questioned ahead of their debut, it’s a remarkable statement.
