NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville SC announced on Thursday the signing of forward Maximus Ekk to a one-year contract, with club options for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
Ekk, 19, was signed by Huntsville City FC ahead of the 2024 season. At the MLS NEXT Pro level, he made seven appearances (six starts) and logged one assist before an ACL tear prematurely ended his season.
Notably, Ekk is the first non-academy player to complete the progression from Huntsville and sign a first-team contract with Nashville SC.
“Max is a bright, young, attacking talent with bags of potential,” said Nashville SC General Manager Mike Jacobs in the press release. “His versatility enables him to play multiple roles across our front line, and his tenacity makes him a constant goal threat.”
Before signing with Huntsville, Ekk came through the Central Valley Fuego FC academy. In 2023 he made 11 appearances for the club in USL League One, scoring twice.
