Nashville SC return to Geodis Park on Saturday night, looking to get their first win of the 2025 campaign against the Portland Timbers.
The two sides share a special connection. In March 2020, 15 tornadoes tore through Middle Tennessee, killing 25 people and injuring 309 more. Nashville SC travelled to Providence Park for their second-ever MLS match, and the Timbers Army raised over $1,000 before the match to donate to the recovery efforts.
Ahead of Saturday's match, The Backline is holding a fundraising drive of its own, taking donations for the Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization, a Portland-based organization serving and empowering refugees and immigrants in their city.
